Privacy Policy

1. Overview

NightNudge ("the App") is a bedtime habit tracker and sleep intervention tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

Short version: All sleep and habit data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted. For subscription management, we use RevenueCat, which processes a minimal set of anonymous identifiers to verify your purchase status.

2. Data We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any identifying information.

All settings, records, and preferences you create (bedtime goals, streak history, diary entries, etc.) are stored exclusively in your device's local storage (localStorage) and never leave your device.

If you purchase a premium subscription, RevenueCat (our subscription management provider) collects a minimal set of data to verify and manage your subscription: an anonymous app user ID, your purchase receipt, and basic device information (OS version, app version, country). This data is not linked to your real identity.

3. App Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – To deliver bedtime reminder and nudge notifications.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM – To schedule alarms at precise times you set.
• VIBRATE – To vibrate the device when an alarm fires.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – To reschedule alarms after the device restarts.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK – To keep the alarm running reliably in the background.
• INTERNET – Required by the WebView runtime and used by the RevenueCat SDK to verify subscription status. No sleep or habit data is transmitted.

Permissions related to alarms, notifications, and local storage are not used to collect or send data to any server.

4. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional premium features via in-app purchases. Payment transactions are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not handle or store any payment or financial information directly. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes your payment data.

Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt from the store and an anonymous app user ID to verify and maintain your subscription. RevenueCat does not receive your payment details. 5. Third-Party Services

The App uses RevenueCat solely for subscription management (see Section 4). We do not integrate any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs (e.g., Firebase, AdMob, Facebook SDK). No sleep or habit data is shared with any third party.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
